Things become pretty réal when there’s a Little bunny puddle colt waiting for baby in his/her bed!
I’m hoping THIS kid Will get attached to at least one of the things I’m making during this pregnancy (For Elliot it’s a fail he only likes plastic trucks… even to sleep with!!)
So this time around i REALLY wanted to make something soft and cuddly for a baby
We’ve starting sleeping with it (sometimes us sometimes Elliot) so that it “smells like sleep). Elliot seems pretty ready to hand it over once the baby is here (so CUTE!!)

I was inspired by thèses beautés from Liewood that you can find at Les petits mosus in Québec.
I made a Little “reel” for a quick overview of the steps in Instagram but here at the details.
What you need
- double coton muslin *(50 cm)
- you can use scraps of a different color for inside the ears
- thread and needle
- some filling
The head

For the head I used the same pattern I had used to make Elliot bannies, from here but only made the head
Filled it with kapok (I find it on etsy)
The cuddle cloth
For the puddle cloth, I Cut two squares (40 cm by 40 cm). I wanted to be able to make knouts on the ends so I added a lite Leaf shape to the cornes (I just Drew them but it should look something like this)

Then you sew all around (rights sides together) and leave an opening for the head.

I chose to insert the head once I had flipped the “body” so the stitch is visible but I went over it several times to make sure it was sturdy and safe! Then I knotted the ends ans voila!

Now just waiting for baby to arrive!
