DIY summer hat “On Holiday”

You’ve probably all seen those “Do not disturb” hats by Eugenia Kim but 485 $ for a hat seems a bit excessive (especially when you see how easy this DIY is!). Plus the “do not disturb” sentence seemed a bit pretentious to me … I preferred “On Holiday” (but now that i’m writing this it seems just as pretentious)

That being said I wore during my entire Holiday in Cassis (and bonus, there’s a little elastic which makes you look like a 4 year old but also means you can wear it while hiking = protected and fabulous)

I’m embarrassed to call this a tutorial seeing how easy it is! Vous trace a few centimeters at a time of the desired letter shapes with your glue (make sure you wait until it’s really hot). Then glue the sequin ribbon (making sure all the sequins are going in the same direction)

Then ass the black ribbon. I glued one end, wrapped it around then folded the other end on itself and glued it back on top (and then I added a dab of glue on the opposite side to make sure it can’t slide off)
