I don’t know about you but I just can never seem to find bikinis I really love. They’re always too much, too simple or just too expensive. So I’m experimenting with customization of basic bikinis… this time it’s a lace bikini!
I wore it almost every day in Miami (that was well worth bringing 12 bikinis), so it is tried and true, chlorine and salt water approved.
To make this you need:
- black bikini
- lace (similar here)
- sewing machine and thread (or patience)
- Cut the lace to fit the place you want to apply it and pin in place
2. Sew a straight seam. Then sew small little bits at each lace “point” to hold it down.
3. Same for the bottom (front and back)
THAT’S IT!!
