I’ve been dreaming about this bracelet from tiffany. But I’m not so willing to cash out 5000 $ (yeah litteraly 5000 $). And honnestly I’d be way too stressed to have that much mmoney around my wrist.
BUT
A solution presented itself in the form of “rose gold filled 14 Karat” beads (a technique similar to plated gold but much mor resistant!). The beads are on the pricey side at 3 euros each… but compared to 5 000 $.. it’s a joke!
p.s. My nail polish is “tiffany” by picture polish (available in canada and elsewhere)
You need:
- 8 mm rose gold filled beads (I used 19, the orginal Tiffany bracelet has 21)
- 2 rose gold crimp beads
- 1 rose gold lobster clasp
- string (clear or cabled for more durability)
- 1 jump ring
- pliers
The DIY is super simple. Cut your piece of string and crimp a bead to the end. String the amount of beads that are necessary.
When you’re done add a crimp pead to the other end (hiding the ends back in the beads). Careful not to make too tight or too loose.
Attach the jump ring to one end and the clasp to the other.
That’s it!
