Another Designer DIY, this one I couldn’t help but make when I saw the original by Aurélie Bidermann (whom I adore). Ok mine’s not gold plated but it’s pretty close!! And you can personnolise yours by choosing color combinations your prefer and going with the season trends!
To make this cuff you need:
- gold cuff with holes
- embroidery thread
- embroidery needle
Make 3 stacks of 6 thread of different colors measuring about 30 cm (you could even put more to thicken it a bit)
Tie another piece of thread around all your pieces and make a knot (about 2 cm from the end). Don’t cut the thread just yet, just keep it out of your braid.
Seperate your 3 strands and start braiding
When your braid is long enough, attach it using the thread you attached at the beginning like so:
Do this on both sides and cut the ends of the braids to the desired length
Wear your new cuff by itself or with other bracelets (here worn with maje inspired bracelet and message bracelets)
If only I could change my watch color like that 😉
